Seoul had the small Ihwa Mural Village. Busan had the massive Gamcheon Culture Village. Jeonju had something just in the middle, the Jaman Mural Village just on the outskirts of the town’s old city.
If anything struck me about Korea, it is the incredible abundance and high quality of public art and the value placed on creativity, and I’m so glad we got to visit a smaller city and see how important art is even outside the major metropolitan areas.
Here we staying in a traditional Hanok guesthouse and slept peacefully on the heated floors. I love South Korea.
