In coming back to the US, one of our priorities was to visit our newly-wed-newly-Texan friends Jenna and Chase. We met them in Shanghai when their China chapter was coming to a close and ours was just beginning; although our lives only crossed paths for a few months, we know we have some amazing friends for life.
They live in Houston, so we met in the middle and rented an Airbnb for the weekend in Austin. From food trucks to tacos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we ate well, drank well, and had a great time exploring this quirky capital city.
Most of my photos are just from the Hope Outdoor Gallery, but that’s only because my phone was in my pocket most of the time spending time with friends. I know it won’t be my last visit to Austin!
